We have spent the last few years establishing CASH as a Community Land Trust, attracting members with enthusiasm and useful experience/expertise, and organising ourselves into working groups. We have a vision of creating more cooperatively-managed housing and spaces in South London and have now secured funding to move on to the next stage of actually making this happen.
We are working collaboratively with the community on developing our funding models, searching and assessing potential sites, and through the outreach program finding ways of strengthening and spreading this vision.
We have been planning some community events – including exhibitions, evenings of films & discussions - as an opportunity for people to come along and find out more about CASH, and help shape its future.
In recent months, we have moved our regular meetings online, and also organised our first-ever online film 'screening'.
We want your ideas and input so please join members of CASH for our first film screening (online) and discussions on Friday 22nd of May at 19:30pm! We will start with Bonnington Square by Alistair Oldham.

Together, we'll be watching and learning how people - in South London and further afield - have taken more control over their housing, and created alternatives to the private market. We believe that decent homes at affordable rent are needed more than ever before and that we can make this happen.
We will screen a selection of films, and then host a discussion on Zoom. The films will run for around 45 minutes. The discussion will then run for up to an hour.
Please share the flyer far and wide!
